After almost thirty years, Charles T. Thibodeau and Associates is still providing the highest quality consulting services and training available in the state. The following are general descriptions of those services:  (Click the title of each for more information)

Pre-Assignment Private Security Training:

There are two levels of training in this company, state mandated certified security officer training and customized training for any business. Charles T. Thibodeau is certified by the Minnesota State Private Detective and Protective Agent Service Board and thereby authorized to provide certified training by use of a certified curriculum and certified instructors, to teach protective agents. This training is both twelve hours of pre-assignment training and six hours of continuing training. If you are in need of certified training or if you have any questions regarding certified training please feel free to call our offices or e-mail us during normal business hours.

Pre-Assignment Private Detective Training:

Charles T. Thibodeau is certified by the Minnesota State Private Detective and Protective Agent Service Board and thereby he is authorized to provide certified training by use of a certified curriculum and certified instructors, to teach private detectives. This training is both twelve hours of preassignment training and six hours of continuing training. Certified Continuing Training:

Private Detectives and Protective Agents require six hours of "continuing" training every calendar year. C. T. Thibodeau and Associates has many different certified continuing training courses to meet this need. Most of these training courses are broken into three hour courses. Two of these courses added together make up your annual required six hours of training. Possibly, the most important aspect of the way these courses are set up, is the flexibility we provide our students. We will customize any of these presentations in terms of location and time of day we present them, to meet your specific needs. We will teach early mornings, days, and evenings.

Security Consulting:

Charles T. Thibodeau began his consulting practice while he was still working for Control Data Corporation. He was the Corporate Security Consultant and he provided consulting services for hundreds of managers of buildings literally all over the world. He helped design terrorist resistant security for facilities in Brussels, Belgium, Hamburg, Germany and Lion, France. He consulted with managers all over of the United States including facility managers in Florida, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Texas, California, Oklahoma, and Minnesota.

Expert Witness & Litigation Strategist:

Charles T. Thibodeau began his expert witness practice in 1991 with a case of a young female rape victim suing a mental institution for her injuries. From that time until now, Mr. Thibodeau has continually performed well as an expert witness in Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Nebraska. Although he works mainly for plaintiff's attorneys, he has been very successful in cases supporting Defendants.
